Home&We is an up-and-coming furniture brand based in Christchurch, New Zealand. They specialize in designing and producing custom kitchens, furniture, and home decor. The company’s core offer is creating bespoke items at an affordable price.
To kickstart their website, Home&We needed some stylish imagery to showcase the pieces they had already produced for their clients. And so, in May 2021, the brand reached out to our 3D rendering company to get photorealistic visualizations of furniture designs. In particular, they wanted high-quality 3D models, 3D visualization of products on a white background, and lifestyle renders. Let’s take a look at the results of this project!
Detailed 3D Modeling of Furniture
At first, our CGI specialists created greyscale 3D models of the pieces of furniture. Then, the 3D artists sent renders of the models to the client to check if each item’s geometry was correct. After the Home&We team gave their approval, our specialists moved on to adding photorealistic textures to the 3D objects.
Ultra-Realistic Silo Rendering
The first type of 3D visualization of furniture that the client ordered was silo renderings — product images on a white background. The company needed these crisp, highly detailed visuals for product pages on their website. Each piece of furniture got several renders showing it from different angles, including close-up shots.
Eye-Catching Lifestyle Rendering
The other type of furniture visualization our 3D artists did in this project was lifestyle renders. Here, our CG experts designed stylish settings with color palettes and decor complementing the look of the items. Then, they placed the furniture models they had created earlier into those scenes. And, finally, our 3D visualization specialists rendered the magazine-worthy interior visuals you can see below.
Furniture Showroom Design
Apart from doing photorealistic CG visualization of furniture, our 3D artists also helped the client design a showroom for their products. Based on the provided layout and photos of the space, as well as style and materials specifications, our specialists created an elegant modern interior in 3D. Later, Home&We used these renderings as a guide to design the final look for their store in Christchurch.

The client used the images we created on their website. The CG visuals worked perfectly for both the front page and the product pages of the online store.
